Continental Industries has been awarded an APEX 2007 Award of Excellence for its company newsletter, Opening Lines.
APEX 2007—the 19th Annual Awards for Publication Excellence—is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures and interactive media.
According to the APEX 2007 judges, "The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communications effectiveness."
Continental’s newsletter was recognized in the highly competitive Newsletter category. The newsletter began being published in the Fall of 2006 as the venerable company launched an updated corporate identity. Opening Lines is now issued quarterly with content consisting of company events, product launches, personnel updates, industry facts, and humor.
